MLK Awards. The annual leadership awards luncheon Thursday honors people who have made a difference in the community and includes a keynote speaker. The luncheon is part of the 2020 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Commemorative Commission of Greater Knoxville celebration, the largest consortium of MLK events in East Tennessee. The MLK Special Awards will be presented. The Leadership Educational Symposium is held before the luncheon from 8:30-11:30 a.m. Lunch is at noon.
